
There are few better coastal walks in Britain than the rugged coastline between the quintessential English seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough. With only a few weeks left in the country before his 30,000km cycle ride, my Aussie friend Chris was keen to see the best of the British coast. We certainly found it! With our camping gear on our backs, we set off from Whitby on a cold but blissfully sunny winter’s day. Our two-day path would take us 25 miles along the coast via the breathtaking Whitby Abbey, Robin Hood’s Bay and many other points of interest, finally ending at Scarborough Castle. The video below shows why this is an area of the country that everyone should explore at some point in their life…
